Our club is now working with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southern Maryland (located in North Beach) to provide food to local families. Their next food drive is on Saturday, May 16th. Food drop-off at the Boys and Girls Club is from 11:00 to 12:00 Noon. The club will be distributing food from 12:00 to 2:00 PM.
Please pick up the following items for the food drive:
For convenience and social distancing, Jeanette Flaim has volunteered to accept food drop-offs at her home in Chesapeake Beach to serve the north county, and Cindy Yoe will accept drop-offs at her home in Prince Frederick. Please email Jeanette or Cindy if you want to drop off food with them before the food drive. (If you need someone to come to your home to pick up food, please email Jeanette.)
We are seeking a south county volunteer to accept food drop-offs as well. This will make it easier to consolidate food and supplies and get them to the Boys & Girls Club. Please email Linda Copeland if you live in the south county and would like to be a food collection volunteer.
You may donate on their web site at https://bgcsm.net/donations/
