Volunteers are needed to staff the Calvert Democrats' information tents on Election Day, as well as all days of early voting. The tents are places where voters can gather information about Democratic candidates, ask questions, and see a friendly face on their way to the polls. No experience is necessary to help out.
Due to COVID-19 social distancing, we will be limiting staffing at the tents to three people on each shift. Masks are required.
For early voting, staff is needed for ONE location. For Election Day, staff is needed for all FIVE polling locations. Here are the details:
On Election Day, instead of the normal precinct polling places, there will be Voting Centers located at:
Per the Maryland State Board of Elections, voters can cast their vote at any vote center in their county of residence.
There will be secured drop boxes for returning mail-in ballots, but their locations are still to be determined. The drop boxes will be available in October.
