On Thursday, February 4, 2021, at 7:00 pm, the Calvert County Democratic Central Committee will be holding a public hearing to fill the current vacancy in the Maryland House of Delegates in District 27B serving Calvert and Prince George’s counties. The hearing will be held online via Zoom and will be livestreamed on the Calvert County Democratic Party’s Facebook page. If you are unable to view the proceedings via Facebook, please contact Jeanette Flaim (JeanetteFlaimDemCentral@gmail.com) for a link to join the hearing via Zoom. The CCDCC advertised this vacancy for interested individuals to apply to be considered for this appointment. The candidates who have applied were asked to answer a series of preliminary questions, the list of candidates and their answers can be found at our website.
