"Join the NAACP Calvert County Branch for our Annual Fall Event. In place of our Luncheon this year, we will have a Freedom Fund Virtual Fundraiser on Sunday, November 7, 2021, beginning at 3:45 pm. This year’s theme is “Always Fighting Forward.” We will celebrate the achievements of the NAACP and its proud history of fighting for civil rights, social justice, and advocating for educational and economic empowerment in the community in which we serve. Supporters like you help us to continue to make strides in fighting for equality for all people. The program will include dynamic speakers, musical performances by renowned international performers, and much more. The cost for attending is $40.00, with all proceeds from this event used to continue the mission of the NAACP and its ongoing work within the Calvert County community."
