The League of Women Voters of Calvert County is holding a candidate forum for the individuals running for Board of Education. Our October meeting has been delayed by one week so you can attend this event!
Board of Ed elections are important because they will affect the running of our schools and our kids' futures. Although Board of Education races are nonpartisan-- no "D" or "R" will appear next to candidates' names on the ballot-- our club supports the candidates in bold below because their positions best align with our Democratic values. Please attend to support JAM: Jeanette, Antoine, and Mike!
Also remember that no matter which County District you live in (1, 2, or 3), you will have the opportunity to vote for a Board of Education Candidate in each of the three District races:
District 1: Mike Shisler
District 1: Joseph Marchio
District 2: Antoine White
District 2: Paul Harrison
District 3: Jeanette Flaim
District 3: Melissa Goshorn
